CheCancha
The SaaS solution that professionalizes court bookings.
CheCancha originated as 'Courtify', my capstone project for the Soy Henry Full Stack development bootcamp. The challenge was to build a complete application from scratch, individually, that solved a real and tangible market problem, demonstrating the ability to take an idea from concept to a functional product.
I noticed that most local sports complexes relied on informal and chaotic methods to manage their reservations (notebooks, WhatsApp, etc.). My goal was clear: to create a robust digital platform that offered a modern and organized experience, laying the groundwork for what is now the vision of CheCancha.
Key Features
- - Intuitive Admin Dashboard: A central control panel with an interactive calendar to manage schedules, confirm bookings, and view real-time court occupancy.
- - Player Self-Management Portal: User profiles with traditional and social sign-in (Google Auth), booking history, and personal data management.
- - Automated Notification System: Transactional emails for booking confirmations, reminders, and changes, reducing no-shows and improving communication.
- - Mercado Pago Payment Integration: A secure payment gateway allowing players to make a deposit or pay the full reservation online, ensuring collection for the complex.
From its inception, the project focused on usability for both the administrator and the end customer. The platform not only optimizes daily management but also opens the door to a scalable business model (SaaS) that can transform the operations of hundreds of sports complexes.
